Founded in 1999 with the name of Guangzhou Kangyi Electronics Co.,Ltd. The Guangzhou base takes charge of marketing and after-sale services, with the Shunde factory going for production. Owing to our incessant efforts in the past decade, Kangyi is now a specialized financial machinery provider manufacturing a series of professional equipment, including RMB counter, RMB detector, universal banknote counter, universal banknote detector and etc. Kangyi is now well accepted as a famous brand both within the banking industry and in the general market. Marketing
Among top financial equipment providers in China, Kangyi enjoys a high market share domestically. A highly efficient service network providing professional support is accessible in over 90 locations covering 31 provinces/regions. Every product is tracked by our after-sale service department starting the first day a customer chooses it, and surveyed regularly. By doing this customers’ opinions and suggestions are gathered to ensure our products can satisfy market needs.
What’s more, Kangyi products are also well accepted in the international market, with about 30% of which are sold in south-east Asian, European, and American countries.

R & D
At present we have a R&D staff of 93 employees, including 3 with PhD degree and 23 engineers. Moreover, by collaborating with institutions of higher learning and research institutes we are getting more professionals to join us and advanced technologies to improve our products.
Creativeness is very much emphasized and encouraged. Embedded system design centering around DSP and ARM-based MCUs is in full wing. A lot of edge-cutting theories or technologies are widely used or under investigation, among which are intelligent pattern recognition, fuzzy control and neural network applications.
Kangyi boasts several state patents and won silver reward in Guangdong Province Excellent Industry Design in 1999 and 2003.
Facilities
There are 4 specialized labs to perform tasks of sensor grading(IR, UV sensor, laser, Magnetic, CCD, etc) ,environmental experiments, safety tests and new product tests. Many high performance instruments or equipment are purchased, among which are 3 Tektronix 4-channel digital oscilloscopes, 2 NI visual instruments, and 1 Agilent 4+16 mixed signal oscilloscope. Many DSP and ARM development tools or evaluation boards are also equipped. Some production-oriented advanced facilities including fully automatic production system and fully automatic PCB in-circuit testing system are installed. Moreover by closely cooperating with universities and institutes access to many more advanced instrument is available.
Production Management
Great efforts are made to ensure the quality of every single part, and as a result top quality finished products can be produced. With over 200 skilled workers, 4 modern workshops covering an area of about 10,000 square meters (6,000 in terms of ground area), 22 production lines (6 fully automatic and 16 standard ) and fixed asset around ￥20 million, Kangyi is capable of turning out over 100,000 counters and 200,000 detectors annually.
The efforts over the past decade have been greatly rewarded in that not only we are more experienced and our products are widely accepted, but also we have a lot of honors, among them are: 2 silver rewards in Guangdong Province Excellent Industry Design in 1999 and 2003 respectively; ISO9002 certification passed in 2000; one of companies first winning state production permit in 2001; some products passed CE certification and several state patents were awarded in 2002; ISO9001:2000 certification passed in 2003 and in the same year all products passed CCC certification; ISO9001:2000 renewal certification passed in 2005; products exported to Europe passed ROHS certification.
These rewards represent the past although they were so hard to get and the last thing we will do is to be content with the past. Bearing our motto of Incessant Improvement in mind we are ready to aim higher.
